Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is considered to be a natural and an alternative to medical science. It involves the use of essential oils that are volatile plant extracts which can be easily inhaled by patients suffering from various diseases. This therapy is used to enhance mood, change our cognitive states and can also use as a supplement to medicines.
Essential oils which are the key ingredients of aromatherapy are generally extracted from different plant materials using three different methods like steam distillation, cold press and absolute. In absolute method essential oil is extracted from flowers as a result, it could not survive the steam distillation and the cold press process. Essential oils that are extracted from citrus fruits is by cold process method, while steam distillation process is applied to obtain essential oils from all other parts of the plant body.
Aromatherapy relieves stress holistically, clinically and aesthetically. Each of these methods are unique and utilizes different essential oils to help the individuals to achieve peace and tranquillity.
The most vital element of Aromatherapy is Synergy which is a combination of numerous essential oils and is more powerful than the oils alone this alternative treatment is now offered in therapeutic practices which include massage centres, yoga studios and spas and even in hospice settings and chiropractic centres natural healers have to turned to this therapy for many anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of essential oils. Hence, it has the unique ability to relief anxiety and depression, enhance energy levels, speed up the healing process, cure headaches, boost cognition, induce sleep, strength the immune system, reduce pain, improve digestion , increase blood circulation, act as anti-depressants and boost memory.
