paper craft by our teacher. I enjoyed clicking a photo with an animal in Google 3D.

Today we celebrated ‘Love the Animals Day’. We learnt how we should we care for our domestic animals. Domestic animals give us milk, wool, eggs, etc. I liked it when Teacher explained about aerial animals, ie, birds. They are lightweight, with feathers and wings used for flying. Some animals are used as means of transport. We should avoid unnecessary thrashing and killing of animals.

I also learnt a new word – ‘poaching’. It means killing the animals illegally. I did not like that at all.

Our Teacher, very impressively explained how important and helpful animals are, displayed videos about their shelter, food and care. I was also happy to learn new words like terrestrial, aquatic, aerial and amphibian animals, but was also very saddened to learn about poaching of animals by cruel, greedy humans. Lastly, Teacher made us do a very interesting activity, that of making animals with easily collectable materials.

Today, we had a wonderful session on animals and their care. My Teacher explained the topic very well so I could understand the different ways in which we can take care of animals and the need to love them.
When I watched the different types of animals, I felt very happy. But I felt very sad when I came to know about animal poaching. So I’ve decided to take care of animals in my surroundings and raise my voice against animal killing.
I learnt a lot of new words and was very excited to do the craft activity.

I felt very sad to know the treatment animals are getting from the human beings. Please stop this cruelty. I don’t like this being done to animals.. They have life like us. Today, I have learnt more about different kinds of animals, birds and their uses. I came to know the meaning of different terms like terrestrial, aquatic and air animals respectively. Teacher taught about animal poaching. I felt very sad after knowing about animal poaching and decided to take care and love the animals
just as we take care and love ourselves. We should stop animals poaching. I loved doing the model of animal for the craft activity and had a whale of a time doing it.
