Our Cultural Day held on the 27th of August was a very eventful day put together along with my classmates and my class teacher Mrs. Kashmira Rodrigues. I was happy when I got selected as a main singer which made me more confident and enhanced my skills. The cultural event was a grand success but it took many days of rigorous practice and continuous encouragement from our class teacher . I have learnt that Don Bosco loved children and helped them follow what is good in life. I will definitely follow his teachings.

The cultural day gives each child a chance to perform and show their talents. I personally enjoyed the role of the compere as well as the two songs I sang . I liked the play and the simple message of Loving Kindness. It has taught me to do simple deeds with love and make others as well as ourselves happy. A big thank you to our class teacher for all her efforts.

Std II Cultural day was celebrated on 27th August with great pomp and show. In keeping with the theme our teacher dressed the students as famous personalities who were icons of love and kindness. I was very excited with this idea as I was asked to dress as Mother Theresa. I found the Cultural day to be extremely interesting and useful in getting to know about the famous icons and their contribution to the society. Indeed it was a good learning experience for my fellow mates and me.
