Hey Guys! Today our school celebrated Children’s Day and we were very excited as we were asked to wear coloured clothes for the first time in this academic year. Some of my friends were dressed up in their very best attire. Every year Children’s Day is celebrated across the country on 14th November, which is the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who was the first Prime Minister of independent India because he was very fond of children.
Though we are not able to attend school physically due to the ongoing pandemic, our school organised an online program for us. Our class teacher showed us some videos on the life of Chacha Nehru, and also entertaining videos of song and dance. We also played few games. It was very nice to see our dear Principal, Fr. Bernard, our Head Teacher, Mrs Griselda Fernandes and all our teachers who sent us their wishes and spoke many encouraging words through the video. Our class teacher created a very beautiful video of all the students of my class, which I enjoyed the most. Thank you to the management, staff and our teachers for making this day special. We really appreciate you. ❤️

Today we celebrated children’s day in our online class. Yu hu! what fun it was. Every year we used to celebrate children’s day in school. It used to be fun with the programme – song, juggling show, chocolates etc. But this time it was online, which was also great fun as teacher showed us some videos and then we played games. We got a chance to wear coloured clothes today for our class. I enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you teacher for everything you do to make our day fun and interesting.

Children day is one of the best day of the year for kids. With the same enthusiasm, this year also Don Bosco High School celebrated the Children’s Day but via online platform on 10th November, 2020. We all wore colourful clothes and our class teacher Miss Nerissa organized games for us. She also explained to us the significance of Children’s day and why we celebrate this day. We played games and enjoyed it as if we were in school.
Then the event was followed by a beautiful presentation where we were shown last year’s children’s day program. We also had a wonderful video message from Fr. Bernard and our head teacher Mrs. Griselda and all our Primary teachers which made us feel so special.
As a cherry on the cake we also witnessed an amazing video which was prepared by our class teacher Miss Nerissa with a special message for each and every student. It showed us how well she knew each and every child in her class. So special thanks to Fr. Bernard, head teacher Mrs. Griselda, our awesome class teacher for a wonderful gift and all the teachers for giving their precious time and preparing a sweet video message for us.
