Children’s Day — As Diwali holidays are nearing, we all thought there will be no celebrations or parties as we have online classes this year. Yesterday just at the end of the class Kashmira Teacher said that there is some surprise for us! And from that moment I was excited, eager and anxious to know as always. After checking my mom’s phone umpteen times, I finally received that message which made me happy. Two consecutive celebrations, just what we wished!!! Dress up the way we want!!!
We started our celebrations today with prayers. Later Jiyaan sang the birthday song for Teacher’s Dad as he knew it was his birthday today. As he sang the birthday song I could see Kashmira Teacher got a bit emotional. She too loves her Dad a lot just like me.
Later she showed us various videos of Chacha Nehru, a personal video made by her for all of us, a video where all the teachers wished the Primary boys. She took us down memory lane. And as expected she kept the best for the end, GAMES !!! She had planned fun games for us where at one point even our parents got involved. And there was a funny moment where I had to find five objects with letter B. I found those and later kept it aside. There was a biscuit and for a moment I forgot I was in class and was about to eat it, but stopped myself later. Kashmira Teacher as alert always noticed that and said its ok, I can have it as today is Children’s Day.
It was such a funfilled hour!!! I didn’t miss school at all today!!! Thank you Teacher, only you could make an online celebration so much fun….

Children’s Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is celebrated on 14th November every year as a tribute to India’s First Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Today I was very happy because we celebrated Children’s Day. We wore colourful clothes. It was a real surprise. Teacher showed us an H5P video and we played games. Special thanks to Kashmira Teacher for making a wonderful video with a special message for us and presenting it as ‘Std IV D got Talent’ Thank you Fr. Principal, Head Teacher and all my Primary teachers for your wishes and

Today at school we celebrated Children’s Day. Our teacher made us play games and showed us videos. Our teacher made a special video wishing us a very Happy Children’s Day. This video had old photographs of all our friends from the previous years. It also included talents that the boys have in our class, like playing a piano, performing a skit, preparing a quiz show, etc. Miss Kashmira made us play a scavenger hunt game and this was super fun. It was a lovely school day.
