Father and Son Day – Students of Std II D share their experiences
Father and son day was celebrated on 9th March 2019. The programme began with a prayer. The boys sang a melodious song to welcome the daddies. Father Principal addressed our daddies and told them what an important role they play in our lives. Fr. Bernard our Principal encouraged our daddies not to think about winning or losing but to enjoy the day. Our teacher organized interesting games, one of them was Tug-of –war. The daddies of 2A played with our class and our team won in a few seconds. The boys along with our class teacher cheered as the games were played. We enjoyed flying kites and spinning tops with our dads. It was an enjoyable day and one which I will always cherish.

This day was very special for me as my dad left all his work and spent time with me. We boys had a great time with our dads. We clicked photographs with our class teacher and we were very excited and happy when we won the Tug-of-War game. My dad said he would never miss this day celebrated in school.

I enjoyed every moment of this day celebrated in school. Thank-you teachers and Members of the Management for celebrating this day in school which does not happen in any other school! My dad is my hero and I love him very much. I am eagerly waiting to celebrate this day next year once again.
