 The school band spanning seven decades has a pride of place in the annals of the school.. The glittering stars and the talented musicians of yesteryears continue to live on in the  incredible youngsters of today, who continue to create and belt out a rare combination of Classical, Jazz, Indian and Contemporary music, expressing more often than not our own dreams and hopes Thanks to the Headmasters, Bandmasters and the equally zealous students! The band boys practise before school and after school, for three to five hours,  when they have to perform atshows. On 12th November 2017, the school celebrated its Platinum Jubilee. The school brass band, trained by its talented and dedicated music teacher, Sir Saby Franco, mesmerized the audience with their peppy music. The band boys armed with Drums, Trumpets, Guitars, Tambourines and Saxophones played in complete harmony, welcoming the Rector Major and other dignitaries comprising,  Father Maria ArokiamKanaga, Regional Superior of South Asia, Father Godfrey D’souza Provincial of Mumbai, Father Horacio Lopez, Rector Major’s Secretary, Father CrispinoD’souza, School Rector, Fr. Bernard Fernandes School Principal, and Fr. Roy Noronha, School Vice Principal..

The school band participated in the interschool BAND-IT-FESTIVAL organized by Furtados School of Music. After reaching the finals, the school won the audience favourite prize.(3rd prize) The school band call themselves the BOSCO BAND.

The Rector Major while appreciating the young musicians exclaimed,” The Orchestra performed like professionals. I don’t know what they will do in another four or five years if they play so well now!”

The school band also performed at the Christmas Panorama playing Christmas Carols. The band boys learn the instruments during the summer camp. With an eye for detail and perfection, the band master Sir Saby Franco, gets these novices to master their instruments and surprise fans and critics through their enchanting musical performances.
