Heet Mehta – Std. IX
(This article was published in Times NIE, 26th March 2018)
A precocious student, Ahmed has come a long way, from participating at MUN( Model United Nations ) to sashaying down the ramp at Vogue. He can disarm people who don’t particularly know him, with his quick witted tongue. He has been a guest lecturer to law college students and waxed eloquent on topics close to his heart: cyber security, ethical hacking and cyber laws. He believes that age is not a criterion. It is a matter of knowledge and experience. He was invited to be the chairman at the TCET- MUN for his extraordinary expertise in cyber security development. From being part of a delegation at the local MUN, to attending a conference at the United Nations headquarters, New York, Ahmed has been on a roll. When he is not in attendance at MUN, he is busy in the research cell of the school or memorising the script of the musical to be staged in school. His response in the final round at Vogue proved to be the clincher. He loved his school, but Don Bosco needed to become a co- education school, he opined, and the response was met with a standing ovation. He had spent a major chunk of his vacation at an IT security company, honing his skills in ethical hacking.
