The most life-threatening pandemic that occurred!

-Harry Fernando-7 D

COVID-19 one of the most life-threatening pandemic has stunned the people from all over the world. In humans, coronavirus causes respiratory tract infections which can be mild as some cases of the common cold and others that can be lethal.

The first case of COVID-19 pandemic in India was reported on 30th January 2020 originating from China. On account of the spread of virus and following the government norms, our school granted us leave from 16th March to 31st March 2020, which now has further been extended. These days we were given homework and assignments. Apart from that I did many things on my own. I spent my time by improving my drawing and writing skills, watching news channels to get the latest updates, did some craftwork and many other creative works. Whenever I felt locked up inside the house, I spent time with my family. We played many indoor games and watched movies together. At times I just slept for some time so as to get relaxed and to keep my body in good condition. I also did some exercise at home to keep my body fit.

This was a time given for all of us to prepare for our upcoming exams as well as for the protection of everyone from this harmful disease. I pray that the scientists soon find a cure for this disease and help in the diagnosis of all the people who get affected by this virus. It is a very critical time for all of us in the world. I can’t wait to go out and meet my friends and play with them again.
